How cool is Ellie Goulding?! She is by far one of my favourite human beings. From her voice and her lyrics, to her style and her hair (it always looks rad), I have the ultimate girl crush on her.
Her new album, Halcyon, is basically the reason I am alive. I am crying just thinking about it. Just kidding (but not really). But the other day, lost among the sea of music on my iPod, I rediscovered “The Writer”. Throwback to her very first album!!! This song was what got me so into Ellie Goulding in the first place, it was my favourite song for probably all of 2010. I can’t believe I forgot about it!!
Love love love all her stuff, but this song was my first love. And you never forget your first love.
Her silky voice is heavenly. HEAVENLY.
